So I Failed!

Jul 07, 10 So I Failed!

It’s only day 7 and I’ve already failed my own challenge! Oh well, I guess I just can’t stick with writing something every single day, why I don’t know. But I will still try and write as much as possible this month, and as I had said before, I will still write something on the last day of the month that tells everyone, something about me you may not of known. Either way, today has been a bit of misnomer, I’m not sure what has happened today, but I’ll recap.

In the last week Samaree & I have been talking about moving, etc., and it’s come to our attention that it isn’t going to happen. For a lot of reasons really, but the number one reason is because Samaree isn’t sure the whole process of transferring would actually work how we wanted. She could get accepted to the new store, but less pay, she could not be accepted and then we’d be screwed, or as of now, she’s up for a promotion and that would be better for us in the long run. Trying to start anew with a surrounding you’re unfamiliar with to begin with is hard, not knowing what you’re going to be bringing in is even harder. So in light of this new found realization, we’re looking for a house to rent, because at least them I could feel a bit better, I could plant a garden, and at least see a bit of nature I don’t normally see in the apartment dwelling I’m in now.

There’s also the job situation I’m in, it sucks, I work too much for too little, and so does Thomas for that matter. So because the job market is horrible around here, we’re thinking of starting another business, this will be try number two. And as before we’ll have to worry about capital, inventory, location, etc., just something else to stress out on, but hopefully this time it will work out. We’re not entirely sure what business we’ll be opening as there are a few ideas we have at the moment as well as locations to try and figure out demographics on before we do anything. Whatever happens this sure is going to be interesting!

Best of luck to you and your lady on house shopping. I hope you and Tom can get something rolling, that’d be awesome.
